On 23 July 2026, SARVAM organised a one-day Capacity-Building Training Programme titled “Enhancing Organisational Capacity for Service Excellence – Humanity is the Best Service” at the Satyam Community Centre. The programme brought together 20 staff members and was facilitated by a highly experienced trainer from Chennai. It aimed to strengthen the participants’ professional competencies while reinforcing the values of empathy, compassion, teamwork and people-centred service, enabling them to deliver high-quality services with greater effectiveness and care.

The training focused on enhancing the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to create a culture of service excellence within the organisation. Through interactive learning and practical engagement, participants were encouraged to embrace collaboration, continuous improvement and a strong sense of responsibility, transforming routine service into meaningful and positive experiences for the communities they serve.

The sessions were conducted using a dynamic blend of PowerPoint presentations, interactive discussions, case studies, group activities and team-building exercises. Participants explored key themes including service excellence, effective communication, emotional intelligence, positive workplace behaviour, conflict resolution, accountability and maintaining a customer-focused approach. Real-life workplace scenarios encouraged participants to reflect on their experiences and identify practical strategies for improving service delivery and organisational effectiveness.

The programme featured a series of engaging activities designed to foster teamwork and personal growth. An icebreaker session, “Know Your Colleague,” helped build rapport among participants, while a group discussion on “What Does Humanity in Service Mean?” encouraged thoughtful reflection on the importance of compassion in professional settings. Participants also worked collaboratively on case studies addressing workplace service challenges and participated in team-building exercises that strengthened problem-solving and cooperation. The training concluded with the preparation of individual action plans, enabling each participant to commit to specific measures for improving service quality in their daily responsibilities.

Throughout the programme, participants actively shared their experiences, exchanged practical ideas and engaged enthusiastically in discussions. The sessions reinforced the importance of organisational values, ethical practices, teamwork, effective communication and continuous improvement as the foundation of excellent service. The programme concluded with a reflection session and participant feedback, during which staff expressed their commitment to applying the knowledge and skills gained in their professional roles.

Overall, the training successfully enhanced participants’ awareness, motivation and capabilities to deliver services with professionalism, empathy and humanity. By strengthening organisational capacity and nurturing a service-oriented mindset, the programme contributed to improved organisational effectiveness, greater customer satisfaction and a stronger culture of excellence within the organisation.
