Date: 2 September 2025

Location:  Satyam Community Centre

Building Digital Safety T V to AO HS-02-09-2025On 2nd September 2025, SARVAM organised a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme at Satyam Community Centre under the theme “A Digital Generation.” The initiative aimed to sensitise volunteers to the pressing issue of online hate speech and its harmful impact on children and youth. With the growing reach of digital platforms, young people are becoming increasingly vulnerable to bullying, exclusion, and emotional distress, making this training essential.

These exercises deepened their understanding of how hate speech manifests online and encouraged them to cultivate empathy while supporting young people.

By the end of the training, volunteers not only strengthened their knowledge but also enhanced their commitment to fostering safe and positive digital spaces. Equipped with these insights, SARVAM’s volunteers are now better prepared to mentor youth, raise awareness, and build resilience in the digital age.
