On 25th June 2025, Sarvam, in partnership with Junior Chamber International (JCI), conducted an impactful motivational programme at the Satyam Training Centre, Puducherry. The session aimed to empower village volunteers by enhancing their understanding of key social themes, with a special focus on women’s role and value in society.
The programme brought together a vibrant group of local volunteers who serve as the backbone of community development in their villages. With an emphasis on women’s education, financial independence, and health, the session showcased how change at the grassroots can be initiated by informed and motivated individuals.
Speakers highlighted education as the cornerstone of empowerment. They shared how an educated woman contributes not just economically, but also fosters better values and opportunities for future generations. Financial independence was addressed through discussions on skill development, entrepreneurship, and the power of self-reliance—illustrating how earning capabilities enhance confidence and decision-making within families.
A significant part of the programme focused on women’s health, stressing the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and access to healthcare services. Volunteers were encouraged to actively promote awareness and support mechanisms in their respective communities.
The session was enriched with real-life stories, impactful statistics, and motivational insights, leaving the volunteers inspired and energised. As the programme concluded, it fostered a strong sense of responsibility among the participants to become proactive change-makers, committed to building a more inclusive and empowered society.
