Empowering RW through BCS & Awareness__26-07-2025__2On 26th July 2025, SARVAM, in collaboration with India Turns Pink, organised a breast cancer screening and awareness camp at the Satyam Training Centre for women from five villages. Nearly 80 women participated in this significant health initiative aimed at promoting early detection, awareness, and preventive healthcare.

The camp utilised the iBreast Exam, a portable and non-invasive screening device, to ensure safe and efficient detection. Alongside the screenings, participants were educated on the importance of self-examination, regular health check-ups, and the life-saving role of early detection. The sessions were conducted with sensitivity, ensuring comfort, confidentiality, and respect for every participant.

Several participants requested that similar camps be organised regularly, underscoring the growing need for accessible healthcare initiatives in rural areas.

This programme reflects SARVAM’s continued commitment to improving rural women’s health and well-being and highlights the valuable partnership with India Turns Pink, a non-profit dedicated to breast cancer awareness and early detection. The success of this initiative strongly emphasises the importance of community-based healthcare outreach in addressing urgent health challenges.
