A one-day training programme for women entrepreneurs was organised at the Satyam Training Centre with the support of JCI. The event brought together more than 50 women from nearby villages with the objective of strengthening their entrepreneurial skills and enhancing income-generating opportunities.
The training focused on equipping participants with practical strategies to improve their trades and develop sustainable business practices. Sessions covered a range of topics including understanding customer needs, maintaining product quality, managing finances effectively, and expanding market reach. A special emphasis was placed on marketing skills such as product presentation, pricing strategies, and the use of both traditional and modern sales channels to attract more buyers. The trainer also shared inspiring success stories of rural women who had successfully grown their enterprises by adopting innovative methods and customer-focused approaches.
Interactive activities and group discussions made the programme lively and engaging, while participants were encouraged to share their challenges and personal experiences in managing small businesses. This exchange of ideas created a collaborative learning environment. Practical demonstrations on packaging, display techniques, and customer communication further boosted the confidence of participants, enabling them to visualise the application of these methods in their own ventures.
The programme concluded with a motivational session that inspired the women to believe in their potential and to pursue their goals with consistency and determination. Participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to JCI and the organisers for offering them valuable guidance, actionable tools, and renewed energy to grow their businesses. Many women shared that the training had given them fresh ideas and practical solutions to scale up their enterprises.
