An exhibition and sale of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Society handicraft products was organized at Cadbury’s corporate office on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Various products like candles, incenses, perfumed sachets, paper products, books and soaps were on display, available for sale. The 400-odd employees of Cadbury’s appreciated the products and the efforts by the team. Some visitors took details of the Sri Aurobindo Rural & Village Action & Movement (SARVAM) project & website since they wanted to either make direct donations or get involved with the project.
The corporate communications team of Cadbury (which organized the event) had circulated mailers internally within the office prior to the event, stating that the sale of these products was organized to raise awareness about the SARVAM project. Ophira Samuel-Bhatia, Director—Corporate Affairs, South Asia & Indochina, Cadbury Kraft Foods, and her team helped in organizing the event and were very supportive towards the SARVAM volunteers.
