This report relates to the Digital Service Center Training conducted for the selected 33 women digital sakhis out of 100 digital Sakhis of LTFS project in SARVAM, SAS. The theme of the training was: “Promoting the Digital Service Centers (DSC) in SARVAM rural Villages”.
Training for the 33 digital sakhis was organized in the Satyam Community Centre, Poothurai village for five days from 10 to 14 December 2021. Thirty-three digital sakhis from various villages attended this training who were selected for setting up the E-Service Centre in their villages for their sustainability. The training was given by the experts who are running a digital service center with a large volume of beneficiary engagement. One of the expert trainers has bagged 2 central Government awards and 1 state Government for running the best e-Seva Kendra provided the training and it was a great learning experience for the digital sakhis to learn new concepts.
The training was aimed to help the participants with the following objectives.
- Motivate to take up the Digital Service Centres
- Provide technical inputs to run Digital Service Centres
- Guide to avail various login credentials while signing up the web pages for providing services to beneficiaries
- Demonstrate the various services offered in Digital Service Centres through real-time learning
- Provide an insight to certain clarifications, doubts, and questions raised by 33 Women Digital Sakhis relating to the various services of Digital Service Centres
The main plan of providing this 5-day training is to help them enhance their knowledge and also to provide them ideas to widen their income-generating methods through E-Seva Kendra. Also, this training aims at providing innovative ideas that will help them move on to the next level in their sustainability plan.
Considering the lockdown and COVID-19 protocols, training was conducted by following all the safety measures and the wellbeing of all participants were given the highest priority.
The training was conducted in an interactive method using videos, PPT, and other audio-visual aids. This helped the digital sakhis learn things easily. Group discussions, interactions were arranged during the training which provided an opportunity to discuss and learn from each other. A question and answer session was also conducted at the end of the session for clarifying the doubts of all the 33 digital sakhis.
After the training, all 33 digital sakhis were very well prepared for setting up the new E-Service Centers.
