LTFS organized a 2-day NPCI training on 20th & 24th August 2020 for the Digital Sakhis and Coordinators of SARVAM. Due to the current pandemic situation, keeping in lines with the government norms, these sessions were conducted online for the participants. The Zoom link was shared with all the participants and they were also educated on the usage and joining of the session through the link.
SARVAM in association with LTFS is implementing a project titled Digital Sakhi and in that connection various trainings are given to the Digital Sakhis so as to help them learn more about Digital Transactions and Applications that can be used to move towards digital transactions. This program has been given as TOT. This programme will be a great help to the Digital Sakhis to educated and train the community on digital transactions.
The main objective of this training is to explain the usage of BHIM Application which was designed by NPCI. The training was for 2 days. The Digital Sakhis were divided in two batches of 50 each and training was provided to them virtually. The meeting link was sent to all the Digital Sakhis which helped them to attend the training easily.
The trainer first explained all the Applications that NPCI has designed and explained the role of NPCI in designing Digital Applications. He then explained about BHIM Application. He further explained on how these apps have to be downloaded from the Google Play Store, How to Install, How to register and various other components related to BHIM App was explained clearly.
The trainer then explained how to involve in transactions using BHIM App. He explained about using QR Codes, Sending to Accounts and Sending to Phone Contacts. Each topic was explained in detail in a practical manner & videos and this helped the Digital Sakhis to understand the aspects clearly.
Various questions related to the BHIM app and other Digital Transactions were raised by the Digital Sakhis and those were cleared by the Trainer.
Both days of the session saw a very active participation and it helped all the participants to learn new concepts and ideas.
